We spent this last week in California with Jim and his family. We loved the new house. Jim and Bill were able to get a few important projects completed – the gas leak in the laundry room, the water leak in the master bathroom tub, purchase and installation of a new microwave, installation of a basketball court light and stained the picnic table. We were delighted to see that Jim had a 50 AMP electrical connection for the motor home installed. While we were there we all went to the reptile store and watched as the family bought Joey a snake for his 16thbirthday. The aquarium that houses the snake fits perfectly in his bedroom. This snake lives for 25 years.
We left a day earlier than we had planned and changed our itinerary in or order to bring Jim to Hayward, CA for an installation. While he was working we visited the best outlet mall we’ve been to – Livermore Premium Outlets. We didn’t go into more than three of the stores, however all the major stores were represented. It was beautifully laid out and we did buy a couple of things that we had been looking for.
We took Jim to the airport around dinner time and then took the opportunity to visit an old favorite restaurant of ours, Quinn’s Lighthouse in Oakland.
We are now packed and ready to finish the last leg of our 84 day journey. We are looking forward to being home again but it has been a truly wonderful trip.
