We headed towards Memphis today but almost immediately spotted a Costco where we restocked our dwindling water supply, paper plates and other essentials. We then continued our trip stopping again for fuel. Bill noticed the motor home engine was missing and lacked power to climb some hills. We began to look for an RV park early so he could replace the primary fuel filter with the spare fuel filter that we carry. Fortunately, there was a truck stop nearby so that he could obtain fresh diesel to prime the replacement filter. We’ll know tomorrow if the filter replacement resolved the issue. During this process he also fixed the 120 volt outlets on the right side of the motor home that were not working.
We watched Sunday night’s game today. The poor 49ers! It was ugly. We hope to be able to stay awake long enough to watch Monday night football but we’re not used to being on Eastern time where it starts so much later. I doubt we’ll see it tonight. I am happy to say that our Dish is working again so we’re taping the game.
