We’ve almost been gone a month. We had a leisurely morning. On our way out of town Bill wanted to stop at the “Mystery Spot and Zip Line” so we did. It was about 15 minutes from where we were staying. We both went into the Mystery Spot where you could stand on the walls. There were different rooms, all at very steep angles. After about 5 minutes I had to leave as it was terrible on my knee. My tourist companion finished that and then Zip Lined. I was the photographer. He has always wanted to Zip Line but he didn’t think it was that exciting. I was glad I declined because the landing was very severe. It would have been horrible for my knee.
When I took the sewing class at the WIP rally I made a bag for Daisy’s stroller. It worked so well that I now want to make one for the back of the wheelchair. Bill got on the Internet (bless his heart) and found a quilting shop in a nearby town so we stopped there and got me fully supplied. I now have something to do with my hands while Bill is driving. I sewed a little yesterday and it was so nice as I’m sitting at the kitchen table looking at all the beautiful scenery as I sew. I haven’t driven in the last couple of weeks and I don’t miss it. I feel confident now that I could drive if there was an emergency.
We’re stopped now for two days at a PA campground resting for the next leg of our trip to Niagara Falls. We’re at a wooded site with lots of trees. It has a little pond with a canoe (which we will not use). It has the feel of being in the mountains.
