Goodwin Maple Sugar Farm

What is going on in Vermont? Both at this campsite and the last one (which is 70 miles from here) we have not been able to drink the water without boiling it first. We took that to mean that we can’t wash any fruit or vegetables, use the water to brush our teeth or to clean any of our utensils or dishes. We’re using bottled water for everything except to take a shower. We’ll be glad to get out of here. We’re leaving tomorrow morning. We’ve been dealing with this for four days now!
Poor Bill, on the way to this site it rained which wouldn’t have been so bad if he hadn’t washed both the car and the motor home before we left our last site. Both vehicles look like they haven’t been washed in a month.
Today we went to Goodwin’s Maple Sugar Farm. It was one of the best tours that we’ve been to even though it was only Bill and me. We watched a 14 minute movie on how the maple is eventually made into maple syrup and a very nice gentleman, who once lived in Northridge, talked to us for an additional 20 minutes and gave us even more information. There are four types of Maple Syrup and we tasted all of them and determined that Grade A Amber was our favorite.
