On Sunday we passed the Continental Divide which I’m sure we knew was it was  there but didn’t remember.  It’s that point in the United States where rivers on the west side travel towards the Pacific Ocean and rivers on the east side travel towards the Atlantic Ocean.

We stopped in Buckeye, Arizona where unfortunately our grandson, Jim, was in Santa Clara so we couldn’t see him, however, our son Matt was traveling through on his way towards New Jersey.  He stopped for the night and we met him for a two hour breakfast.  When we arrived in Arizona it was 104 degrees and not much cooler when we arrived in Palm Springs yesterday where it was 102 degrees.  This was by far the hottest by at least 15 degrees of our entire trip.
