Friday, August 30th, 2013 We drove down the coast of Maine today and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. We stopped at Penobscot Narrows Observatory which happens to be atop one of the pillars that holds up the Narrows Bridge. They would not allow dogs on the elevator nor would they allow dogs to remain in the vehicle alone so Bill went up to the observatory and took photos of the view while Daisy and I walked around the parking lot. It’s just as well that I didn’t go since at the termination of the elevator there were two flights of stairs. All along the coast we kept seeing signs for Lobster Rolls so, of course, we had to stop and try one. As it turned out, Lobster Rolls are cold cut Lobster stuffed in a hot dog bun. We enjoyed it with avocado.
